We made lanyards for the team to let attendants quickly identify us

Two weeks ago, we held our first ever public workshop to talk to the public about who we are, what we do and what we believe in. We also talked about how Spiking helps investors to master the stock market with skills such as Big Data Analysis and Tricks of Blue Whales, Millionaires and Billionaires.

We were very overwhelmed and nervous at first. This would be the first time for us as a team to convey our idealogies to the public and possibly receiving feedbacks, judgements and comments about our product. The entire team was very excited but our founder, Clemen, was especially thrilled because he would be conducting the workshop.

It was a busy week at Spiking — everyone was occupied with their own projects and we were trying our best to show our users the most useful information and the best product we can exhibit. We wanted not only to provide the attendants with knowledge that will help them know the stock market better, but also to charm them with our brand new product-in-development.

We put out posters on the day of the event to welcome attendants

Some of us got to the venue to prepare the event at 5pm as we wanted to be absolutely sure that everything was in order. The team had dinner together an hour before the event, quite tensely because everyone was starting to feel the pressure.

Shortly starting from 6.30pm the participants arrived one by one. We were not sure if participants would all turn up on time although we sent out emails reminding everyone the time and venue. Therefore the team started talking to participants to learn more about them. Surprisingly some of the attendants were not Spiking’s users yet so we took the time to show them the basic function of Spiking and guide them to download the app in preparation for the workshop.

We started the event a little bit later to accommodate for latecomers as it was a Friday and it was raining outside. Clemen started by briefly introducing Spiking and Spiking’s features. He then proceeded by presenting 10 case studies of how investors should read the stock market.

Participants were all paying full attention to Clemen

We were very satisfied with the workshop! We received a lot of feedbacks (they are critically important to us), it didn’t matter if they were positive or negative because we are dedicated to building a product that is useful to our users so we strive to improve and get better along the way. You will be part of this journey and help shape how Spiking will become if you tell us your opinions, give us feedbacks or just talk to us.

If you were one of the attendants of the workshop currently reading this post, we would like to say a massive “thank you” to you and tell you that you were amazing! If you missed our event and are now blaming yourself about it, don’t, stay tuned and follow us on social media so that you will be informed of our upcoming events.

Happy Spiking!
